There have been many roses introduced over the years.......Many beauties that retain their popularity and others that are soon forgotten. I continue to favor the Hybrid Teas with exhibition form and Peace, that has been around nearly as long as I have, still continues to please........Do you have a sentimental favorite?

I haven't been doing roses that long, but my all time favorite still has to be BlueGirl. I love that rose.
Roses are one of my passions! Just opened, my Etsy shop (to fund my rose hobby)! http://www.etsy.com/shop/Tweet...

Julia Child--it is tough as nails, and I had such admiration and respect for the woman (bought it because of the name).

My favorite rose is 'Yantai', but I lost mine the first winter I moved up here.

Another favorite is 'Grace Seward'

I'd rather weed than dust ... the weeds stay gone longer.

I have a sentimental attachment to Chrysler Imperial but can't grow one this close to the ocean to save my life. It despises this climate...I've tried and failed numerous times. Hence no photo !
Growing up we lived two miles inland from the ocean and we had 2 of them. They grew and bloomed like crazy with just water and an occasional hacking back by my dad every three or four years. As a kid I remember being in awe at how the fragrance of ONE bloom could fill an entire room.
