Today I introduced Maddy to the garden. We adopted her a week ago.
She's 4 months old.



When the newly planted irises are blooming next spring, Maddy will be a full-grown cat!

Our little dog, Chico, is the only male among 3 dogs and 2 cats. He takes his watchdog role seriously!

My dogs only go in the back yard and I have no Iris back there. Closest thing I have to a pet in the flowers is the feral cat (whom I call...Feral ) that hangs around my front yard.

My14 yr. old Siamese, Loca, really didn't want to have another cat around,
but she's adjusting to Maddy. Thank goodness!

I was just telling Dave that I missed having a Siamese.. That's all we had (except for my Burmese) in my family growing up. I'd like to have at least one more in my life

My Capone is really the only one that gets in my gardens, He has been that way since he was 7 weeks old. my female Stella knows she is not allowed in them so she stays out. She's the good dog. Lol

I love these pictures of your pets in the garden! Unfortunately my cats have to be indoor cats. And my dog...well he's very limited in where he can go because he is not good at welcoming strange animals into 'his' territory. He lost the privilege of hanging out with me in the field.

I still have a 1/4 Siamese. mixed with Himmy, Persian and Ragdoll. My favorite ever kitties were the part Siamese that came out black with gold eyes.

Love the garden kitties and puppies! My Sawyer is an indoor cat. All I have outside is the tail-less Mr. Grumpy cat from next door that is always mad at me because I keep planting iris in his nice stretches of bare dirt!! He keeps giving me the "you have a lot of nerve woman" stare....

Sherry, I had 2 orange cats that my mother asked to watch when we were building the house needless to say they never came home and are much happier with her and no dogs. I have a soft spot for orange tabbies :)

Thanks Linnea! He is a spoiled boy that's for sure! I wouldn't trade this dog for the world! My female is a awesome dog also she's just not as big of a picture ham as her brother.
