Love all the fur-faced babies in the gardens! Mine don't go out unless supervised. Too many hazards on our street. Pippin goes on the front porch or back patio w/o a leash but Kili needs a leash.

Celia - Your cats are so pretty. I understand having to keep them inside.
We don't have traffic risks here, but I do worry about the predators coming

Who's the cutiepie with Bagheera, Tom?

He's the son of a young guy who used to work for me here on the farm. When they came to visit me last fall, they took this picture and sent it to me.

I had a lab mix that loved to help me find all the sticks in the yard when she was a puppy. I had to put her down due to age about 7 years ago. Here is a pic of her wanting to play in the snow.


When she was younger, If I was out doing some weeding, she would come and help and pull on some of the grass. She was the best help.

My mother used to complain that my dog was bruising and breaking veins in her legs with all the tail wagging... But then there were times that I truly believed she liked the dog better than me. When we'd get a dinner invitation, she made sure that we were bringin Sally with us. She'd drive over with leftover steak in a doggie bag for her... We couldn't afford much steak in those days, and I never divulged to my mother who really ate the steak.

The wagging tail is because they are such happy dogs. Think of them as dusting the coffee table.
