I don't know this one but a 6.5" bloom on a 40" scape makes for a nice show.

Waiting patiently for July in Ohio.........

This was new this year. Dale Hensley is known for his work with the color red and some of his are exceptional. Our summer heat is always a factor on color as it is almost always over 90 and often over 100 degrees. The color on Heartless varied. The plant itself was fine for a first year plant but if the color fades or discolors on a daylily in my garden, plant habit will be irrelevant as it will have no future here.
