I first bought Butterscotch Ruffles from Oakes in the spring of 2022. It seemed to settle in quickly and bloomed that year. I enjoy its pretty, small ruffled blooms of a distinctive butterscotch color.
This past season (2023) Butterscotch Ruffles has come into its own. It bloomed in late May and has produced scapes and buds all season. In fact, here on September 2, it has plenty of buds left. It is taller than its registered height. The plant also has excellent rust resistance. It has not shown a speck of rust as of yet. It is very pod fertile, having produced several bee pods. Overall, Butterscotch Ruffles is an excellent garden plant and season extender here. Strongly recommended.
