Did it not come up in a search? It's been there since 2011.

It came up when I searched the database for Camellia Dahlonega.

Carol, you are spelling the name as Dahlohnega, which is an incorrect spelling. It only has one h.

Unfortunately the misspelling is on the plant label in her photo, so I can easily see why Carol didn't find it.

Too bad a public garden doesn't double check spelling before creating a permanent label!
Dahlonega is a city in Georgia.

I missed that. I tend to misspell names sometimes when I'm typing it into the search box but yes, it's unfortunate that a public garden labels plants with an incorrect spelling.

I agree, it's a shame when public gardens can't get the correct spelling on the plant markers! By the way ... I've visited Dahlonega, Georgia a couple of times and it's a quaint little southern town.
