Bluebonnets are waking up - many seedlings are looking good.

Seedlings of red poppies are waking up too.

What do you have coming up?

Yes, they are starting to show here too but we have lots of cold weather to go yet.
It is exciting to see new growth, so fresh and green.

The bluebonnets have put on a nice show this spring. But not all bluebonnets are blue....some are white!

@GrammaChar, so lovely! Is this on your property?

I've been trying to get some Indian Paintbrush to grow along with my bluebonnets but no success yet. Even the packages I got from LBJ wildflower didn't germinate.
In one of you photos, I see them. If you collect seeds, I would love to get some from you.

Driving along I-10, patches of Indian Paintbrushes are blooming...wishing I could get my hands on fresh seeds.

Yes, @piksihk these photos were taken in my front pasture. Indian Paintbrushes can be finicky, but don't give up on them. Here's an older picture of the whole pasture.
