Whoa! The shipping for that plant for me would be $22.00 ($12.00 shipping and an additional $10.00 because I'm in California). Too steep for me! Also, the plants from Select Seeds are shipped in tiny pots (pot size of 3.5" h x 3" w).

I looked at Brushwood and they are definitely the better deal with gallon size plants and shipping included in the price. Shipping costs are really becoming an issue with a lot of people, I think. I am looking at a couple of perennials from a west coast nursery and it will cost me $13 to my location for them and they are the four inch size, as so many are.

Shipping charges have gone up. I don't necessarily know if they are bad though. Think a lot of us get use to the "Amazon Prime" free shipping. Lol

I just ordered 4 Clematis from Brushwood. Thanks for mentioning the name.

It was the first time I've ordered from them. But have heard good things. Now if the spring weather would finally get here it would be better!
