Thank you for this article Becky. I was just telling DH today that someday he is going to find me lying in the yard with all my bones broken because of my kinking stiff out of control hose. When I have finally had enough with this 100 ft. nightmare I will check on the brand you recommended. If I live that long!!!

I splurged on the all rubber, Sears Craftsman (5/8") last year. It's really heavy, and it still kinks; not quite as bad as vinyl, but still...

I think I'll look for a Gilmore Flexogen.

I have a Sears black hose that I've had for 5+ years that is great ,except for the
fact that it is "Black " My BF think's it looks like a Black Racer snake And
he is not a snake person

Some people tell me the Sears is good but it still kinks. Every once in a while I get my hose tangled in between chair legs but that is not real kinking.

I have a rubber hose...and it curls and kinks and drives me absolutely bananas!!!! It's in my greenhouse and 80' is a long way to walk to unkink it! I simply hate hoses!!!!!

Carol. Make a bunch of up-cycled wreaths and buy a new Flexogen hose!
