Each year in the northeast there is a dazzling field of sunflowers that attracts multitudes of people and also insects. No this is NOT Kansas but the Atlantic Ocean coast! Grasshoppers like this guy thrive on these beautiful plants.

Looks like it will be a super painting, Jo! I'm not working on a botanical, but a rooster (took its photo at the fair last fall)...Put in an old coop...needs a lot of work still, but going to art studio gives me an afternoon out with folks....cheap therapy! Sorry about the weather....haven't heard from my niece in a couple of weeks.
They have lots of nice family events .. and some just for adults.. held some cooking classes that they did during the week and started at 8 or so.. too late for me to want to start cooking.. but looked nice
