I love yours all year long, Baja! I so wish the Crassula did well in Phoenix. I have some small ones I cart up to my cabin in Pine in the summer. When they get big they become difficult for me to lift. Sad Sad Sad Sad Sad Photo of a Crassula is about the size I can handle easily!

I had no idea jade plants flowered! So lovely! Do all jade plants flower under the right conditions? What would be the right conditions?
Its easy for me to believe in miracles when science can't explain why a blade of grass has its shape and that is just one plant and one attribute.

I think they need direct (outdoor) sun and short days. For more info check out this thread.

Your description won't work for me, UpState, NY Zone 5a. I've never seen one bloom here. I will check out the thread though. Thank you!

I lived in upstate NY (Rome) for my first 35 years. Jade plants need lots of sun and cool winter temps AND they need to be fairly old to bloom in upstate NY. I had one in a sun room for about 7 years and it had those conditions. I was small when I got it but it had not bloomed. I worked in a greenhouse and they bloomed there when the were really big and old. Of course, if you lived in Southern CA, they are all over the place in the ground blooming away.
