So today a seed pod fell off of my MIL plumie. My question is what do I do with now. It does have a line where is starting to crack but it is not quite there yet. Thought maybe I could try this if the seeds survive. Advice is very needed and welcome...... Aaannnnnddddd go!

Nothing to lose: let it open up (warm, dry place) and sow the seeds.

Thank You! I currently have the seed pod sitting on my outdoor table (its metal so its gets hot) I figured maybe that would help. It will get sun until the early evening there. I do have it wrapped in the same stuff an onion has around it. You think there is a chance it will still open up?

There is a chance, but it will depend on how long it was on the plant, in other words, how ripe it is (think of it as being possibly premature).
