Out working in the garden today and found this growing. At first glance I thought Sansivera. After close inspection it looks like a Orchid. I researched wild Orchids in Florida and I now believe it is Oeceoclades maculata. Non native, but is found growing wild in this area. Can anyone confirm my ID?

That is such little information to go on. Just a few small bulbs and leaves.
What I just googled said that there were 3 species of Oeceoclades naturalized in Florida by way of Africa. What you are asking for is an identification on some fairly slim evidence.
You could perhaps get photographs if and when it blooms. That would certainly help.

It is tough to make an id without blooms, and I would hate to stick my neck out and be totally off.
But, would you believe that my newest copy of Orchid Digest, just received yesterday, has a nice article on Oeceoclades splendida. It has similar short and roundish pseudobulbs and the patterning is also similar.
I would be hopeful that your id might be correct or close. Haven't people reported this Genus popping up in Florida? And what Bill said too. I seem to remember reading that here.
But yes, hopefully it blooms for you!!

Scot, it does look like an Oeceoclades orchid; I hope you will share additional photos once you get blooms! Monk Orchid (Oeceoclades maculata) is has been found in a few areas of Florida, even as far north as Alachua county (Gainesville area): http://florida.plantatlas.usf....

When googling, I couldn't find anything by the name of Oeceoclades splendida and a species by that name isn't yet listed in the Catalogue of Life: http://www.catalogueoflife.org...
