This is one in a series of very short articles that might change your mind about some surprisingly good weeds. And even if your mind isn't changed, you'll still be well informed.

One way route to super nutrition is to make smoothies. Dandelion greens are packed with important nutrients that are important for liver function and also in support for diabetics. Their inulin content is a type of fiber that regulates blood sugar and is also a prebiotic that supports healthy gut bacteria.

Smoothie recipes.

Now to find some seeds to grow my own pesticide free dandelions.

I can see it now, tons of dandelion seeds being delivered down south. Wouldn't cost much to mail them for sure.

You might get what you wish for, Gloria.

Ha.
Vacuum packed dandelion seeds. More than you ever imagined in a teeny tiny box.

I've been craving peach smoothies all day.

Hmmm. Johnny's Seed has them -- $455 a pound. Hmmm! Roasted dandelion root --- save on your coffee bill and clean up your liver at the same time.

I guess a pound of dandelion seeds would fit in my mail box.

45,000 seeds an ounce? Whew boy.
Gloria. I really don't think you need a pound of dandelion seeds actually.

And here's how you collect the seeds. These are growing on Sand Mountain just to the northeast of me. (And in case you have forgotten what Southern speech sounds like, here is a fine specimen!)
