A man has a huge plastic flower pot he has used for several years for his outdoor flowers. The original color has faded. If he painted the pot, would the paint stay on the pot? Confused Confused Confused

If he uses one of the Krylon spray paints intended for plastic, yes.
He may have to re-do the paint job every few years.

I vouch for the Krylon spray paints intended for plastic it stays on and last very well.

I'm thinking acrylic but I'm sure others will chime in as well Thumbs up and Welcome! Welcome! Welcome! to Garden Art - we're so glad you're here.

Krylon makes paints specifically for plastics. I've used them, and they last quite a long time before you need to do it again.

Make sure and use a primer on the clay pot first, so the color isn't absorbed in. Smiling Smiling

Any acrylic works well, but sealing it after is the part that keeps it looking good! Krylon has always preserved my painting on ceramic and plastic pots, I can't recommend it enough.
