Beautiful! I have tried amaryllis in the ground here. They do survive the winter, I am rather surprised, but rarely bloom, and seem stunted when they do bloom.
@Seedfork somehow I missed this post. My amaryllis which are all outside were hit by that deep freeze we had back in March. I have a few buds up so fingers are crossed they won't open damaged.
