Saw this at Gibbs Gardens 3/29/19, Cherokee County, Georgia. Not sure if it is a butterfly or moth, but the antenna look like butterfly.

Couldn't tell you what it is but from school I learned... butterflies come out during the day and moths come out at night. In school we pay attention to what's important to us. 🤷♀️🧚🏻♂️

For sure a moth, a pretty one! But there are so many, it's hard to say. Possibly something in the genus Scopula.

Sherri, that sure looks like it. I see it has many varied patterns on BAMONA, and is common in Georgia. Thanks for the link.
