I've seen Patrick Dougherty's amazing nature art at McKee Botanical Garden here in Vero Beach, Florida. This one was named "The Royals", due to it's location in the grove of Royal Palm trees: http://www.stickwork.net/work/...

These pieces really are mind blowing aren't they ?
On one of the days I went to see the ones here, some local neighborhood cats had perched themselves in the "windows" (circular openings) of the sculptures and were just watching the spectators as they walked inside. The cats had this look on their faces like, "Isn't this just grand ? These were built just for US."

I agree, it makes a wonderful exhibit. I saw it at the Desert Botanical garden in Phoenix a few years back.
