Im from the cactus/succulent forum.
I pried this from the dirt(they were feral). Had rootlets attached to the bulb, no dense root structure.
Placed them in soil, near lewisia on a high sun balcony(it will be cloudy for the next couple of days, so im guessing its enough time to adjust). Will they make it with minimal roots, planted what im guessing is outside planting season?

You never know but might. Just keep an eye on it & don't let it get totally dry right now.

The soil is not evaporating properly....so it just might if that were the case,,,
