You mean a clue where to buy it?
I have never seen one with these stripes before. Other than that there is Marlow Orchids, Hausermann's, Waldor, Silva, Andy's, maybe Odom's, Carter&Holmes,...

It is NOT Laura Bush!
This looks to me to be a straight Cattleya walkeriana. If you look closely at the lip, you will find 2 things that tell me that it is walkeriana. #1- the side lobes of the lip roll back away from the column, kind of exposing it. This is typical walkeriana. #2- the mid lobe is long and prominent, like it is sticking it's tongue out at the viewer. Again, typical walkeriana.
Now for the petals. This is where the center markings help us out a bit. Walkeriana usually holds its petals up at a 45* angle. This is often the case with walkeriana and you can easily see that here. Actually the petals are typical for walkeriana.
For my $$$, this is a variety of Cattleya walkeriana. You know we have alba forms, albescens forms, semi albas, concolors and just plain old walkerianas. Some how this variety has found its way to google.
If I could take you all to the Brazilian Coast and we stumbled upon 200+ blooming walkerianas, many would be very typical, plus a very nice one here with fuller form, a very nice one over there with bigger size and darker color. Then low and behold we stumble upon this one. It is like a "genetic sport" if you will.
This is one of my top 3 favorite species. H&R has many clones. But if you need to have this one particular clone, I suggest you find the nearest haystack and start looking!! Rolling on the floor laughing

Thanks Bill!
No, I didn't think it was Laura Bush. I just mentioned it as a hybrid with walkeriana, and it has a bit of the stripes.

I have a walkeriana, darn thing refuses to bloom, no matter what I do.

My bad. I thought it was a guess at best!
Ursula, morning light, morning light! And not nearly as intense as we might normally think. If we say Cattleyas like 3,000 foot candles for four hours or so and Oncidiums like 2,000 foot candles for 2-3 hours, then walkeriana likes it a little cooler, 2,500 footcandles for roughly two to three hours.
Oh, and they like to be anchored to a pot or mount and with a few growths with their roots free to 'sniff the morning breeze'.

That was interesting, but a brief display. You don't see many roots on those mounts.

I Found It !

C. walkeriana flammea Tokutsu https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

When researched I found it's "flames" can vary dependent on growing temps during bud development..

Ended up buying my 1st Cat. walkeriana semi-alba "Tokyo #1"

Have any of you _combined different walkeriana varieties into 1- Large wood Vanda basket? Thinking it would make for a Beautiful / Colorful specimen.

No!! I am strongly against this practice!!! What problem might befall one orchid can be easily spread to all the others.
Watering issues are bound to happen. How can you water one less, or one more if they are all together?

You would be much better off if you pot them individually and grow them in a large basket. Or grow them hanging from the same place in the growing area.

I have a number of orchids that I grow together. Bill is spot on. Not in the same pot!! Been there - done that - almost killed them all. The orchids I put together have the same culture requirements. I get those long oval shaped terra cotta pots and put 2-3 plants together. I usually add some decorative stone around the individual pots to keep them stable.
