This little thing is 'Delta Dawn', I've had it for 3 years, it is still in a gallon pot and it just does not want to grow up. In the past it was a shy bloomer but it is showing some color this year. I plan to repot it and see if some fresh soil helps.
It's a beauty. I've had that one in Arizona. It didn't do well for me at all. The common pinks grow like weeds. It seems like the other colors just aren't as hardy. I love the really lovely lavender ones.
That is a pretty color, I don't really see any that color. I don't have any to show in my garden, not enough sun for them here, so they want to grow up trees. Mostly see red or bright pink around here, big bushes of them.
Mine too. They grow well in AZ, but never like the ones I used to see in California. There they often covered entire house walls, and even up over the roofs. I'm sure Florida must have some like that too.
LOL, and I wish my little orange one would just fill up a normal size pot.
Just think of all those thorns in those humongous plants and how about the pic of the couple kissing under a bougie. Ouch.

I've tried the orange one in AZ a few times. I could never make it happy and lost them all. I might have to try one hanging in my greenhouse. It might like that better. That's my favorite color of Bougie's.
And some shots of my California Gold blooms. Bracts are only gold for a few days, then they turn orange, then peach and finally light pink by the time they drop to the ground:
Gorgeous. That top one is almost and orange-red. Is that the one called 'Tomato Red'? I have a Texas gardening friend on the Houzz forums that has the white/pink two-tone one like yours in the bottom photo. I think they are beautiful, but I've never seen one for sale anywhere. Do you know the name of that one?
It is hard to tell without a close up but I had a pink/white that looks pretty close at my last home and it was called 'Double Delight'. Bougainvillea 'Double Delight'

I was looking for a white blooming shrub and this bougie caught my eye. It was unlabeled and apparently there are several white varieties. I have no idea how to differentiate them so this one will likely have to remain a NOID.
