Susan, No, those big green giants aren't in pots, but I do have 6 more just like them 'only much smaller' in pots. DH wanted them to plant at the front of our property, but hasn't gotten around to planting them yet. The poor things have been in 1 gal pots sense i BOUGHT THEM LAST SPRING. Sorry, hit Cap lock, don't want to re-type.)

Polly, 12 years ago we moved here from a rental where I had made many garden beds. We moved most of my plants with us, just never got much planted once we got it here and kept adding to the pot ghetto over the years. The soil here is very rocky and hard to dig in, would need lots of raised beds, but never got around to them either.
Only a few things were potted up before the build. I should have potted even more. They dug up and trampled areas I though would be safe and out of the way. So I lost some things.
Got a new home though, so I guess I can't be too mad about it.
