Thread OP

I've designed a watering caddy/stand and am considering bringing it to market but want some honest feedback on it first.

I'm calling it the H2OWISER and I've had 10 units manufactured and want to give them away (including shipping) to gardeners in the U.S. who would be willing to provide some feedback after using them.

If you're interested please briefly describe how you imagine you'd use it. I'll pick 10 people based on their proposed use and who responds first. I'll PM you for an address if you're chosen and I'll be sure to let everyone know once I've selected the 10 or have given them away on other forums.

Thank You!

I have at least 3 uses ....
the first - as an "over-head" watering system for over 70 potted plants, in a small 10' x 25' area ....using either a sprinkler head or an older figure 8
the second - for watering the area around a specimen plant - shrub or tree.......using either a figure 8 or nozzle head set on coarse water droplets
the third - for watering beds

I would use it for my small flower beds, of which I have many. Also, a corner bed with small bushes needs concentrated watering. Last but not least, for container plants waiting to be put in the ground. I have them in one area to make watering easier. It would be useful for young trees to get them established and through our hot summers. I have several young trees that were just planted late last fall.

@leekosla I just received the H2OWISER today. Tomorrow I will purchase a sprinkler head or two and give this new tool a try. I will give you feedback after I test it. Thanks again for letting me test it free. Smiling

I would use it on my 200+ hostas, hopefully it would allow me to do it more efficiently.

Hi, I just ran across this. I am a small garden and ship mostly daylilies but also grow iris and hosta for sale. I have about 450 dls, over 100 iris and 40 hosta. I would like to try it.
Thanks,
Teresa

Its still simmer here in South Texas Nd I'm watering every day still and probably until November ifvwe dont get out of the century mark soon! Looking for a better way to cover more area in stead of separate "zones" for lawn and numerous flower beds that contain plunged pots. Also like to water the 20 yards of forest behind our house. We are inching towards a drought! This holds a rainbird and just might do the trick! Thanks for the offer.

What was the outcome on this?? I'd love to hear feedback from those of you who received and tried this watering tool! I'm wondering if the product ever made it to market? I googled and got one page https://www.h2owiser.com/h20wi... with an error message saying:

The page isn't working; www.h20wiser is currently unable to handle this request, HTTP error 500.

Upon doing a bit more research, I found a company in England with that name but it's a plumbing, heat and air-conditioning installation company: https://beta.companieshouse.go...

Confused

Lee sent me one, it was extremely well made, I liked that fact that you could adjust the height as needed, hooked it up to a Dramm water nozzle, helped to water my 6 hosta beds, its tucked away in the basement for the winter.

This item looks great
I have tried a modified tomato-cage , d handle fork ,and fishing pole holder and a couple other things to hold my hose to water spots in the garden while I am weeding Rolling my eyes.
I have to say this tool looks well thought out ...I must not be the only one in need of this item

I would seriously be interested in purchasing this tool
if any one has the info where it may be obtained?
