Here's one of the two huge adeniums. With this plant were three "Crown of Thorn" plants, and these are three different varieties of Euphorbia. I don't know a thing about Euphorbia, but perhaps someone will be able to ID one or more of these. The caudix of the adenium measures approximately 16" tall and 12" wide. The caudix was completely under the soil and probably has been that way for over a decade. This plant is about 25 yr. old. I'll repot her with her caudex above ground. I'll cut her way back and when she blooms, perhaps I'll be able to ID her.

The tall Euphorbia is 8-9' measures almost 9'.

Your middle picture in the last group - may be a "Euphorbia confinalis" or a subspecies ...
but, someone over in "Cactus and Tender Succulents", will probably have a better answer

Nice adenium...judging on the few remaining leaves, and habit of the stems, will take a wild guess,
and call it an A. obesum

The word is out that Ken has the expertise, the time, the growing conditions, and the land/shade houses to salvage untended and/or overgrown tropical plants, Audrey. Whistling

Earlier in the year I took in about 50 orchids that had been uncared for for many months. A few days ago a lady contacted me asking if I would be willing to take all those specimen-sized plants from her deck. She could no longer take care of them and also said that she wanted her deck back. I agreed to do so, and with my Jeep SUV and her husband's truck, we moved them all to my house.

James, I imagine that some of those adenium are indeed the obesum, but some are other varieties.

I hope that word gets out for me someday Ken Hilarious! Best of care to you and a great find! I grow a very few euphoria despite the huge family and large fan base. Can't help much other than to be envious of your word out. Sticking tongue out
