Our local Pat Catan's store is closing and will reopen under the parent company, Michael's. I hadn't been to the store since the announcement, but I was in need of a mini paint roller, and on Tuesday, I noticed that they were still open, so I went in. Of course they're liquidating their stock. Sales to beat the band. As I was headed back to the paint section, I passed by the fairy garden shelves. Ooooo, I'm starting a fairy garden! Let's take a look! I left there with these items, that were marked 50% off but turned out to be 60% off!

I got all this for about 12 bucks!

The fairy stuff isn't flying off the shelves, except for the houses are a bit picked over, but these are great additions to the few items I got on sale for half price last Fall, when another store closed.

Oh yeah, and I'm not done with the sale in their fairy garden aisle! There's a house and a tower that are on my radar .....and who knows what else I might find!

Our Pat Catan's closed also but not before I made a literal killing!!!! I don't know if ours will reopen as a Michaels . Would be nice since the nearest Michaels is about 30 miles away and a few years ago they closed our JoAnn Fabric Store. Rosie

Wow Rosie! Our Pat Catan's has reopened as Michael's. I haven't been there yet though. It is closer to us than the Michael's and Joann's that are just 5 miles away.
