Lovely banner Casey. Glad to see the honey bee; there are fewer of them in this area. Sad

Thank you @Marilyn, @crawgarden, @Frenchy21 and @TBGDN for the comments and thank you @Marilyn for the acorns! Thank you to all for the thumbs up!

The Yoshino was beautiful this year and the first time in years it wasn't taken down by the cankerworms. Here are a few pics I took that day. I love the subtle color.

Thank you @cliftoncat, and thank you for the acorn!

@TBGDN, I forgot to mention. There seem to be more honeybees in my garden this yearand I'm not sure why. I always plant lots of things for the bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, etc. and notice the bee presence changes from year to year.

This morning, as I do every morning, I went out to check on the garden and saw the bees "swimming" in the poppy stamens, weaving in and out. Not sure if I've seen them do that before, or if it struck me because there were so many!! Hopefully I can encourage them to stick around. (But if the European Hornets, wasps or yellow jackets want to leave, that would be okay!)
