The color for 'Shimadaijin, was slised as "red" when it is actually bordering on purple, in full sun.

@Calif_Sue, It's 'cause we messaged & my typing can be absolutely awful ! ( that last "l', was almost a "k". Wouldn't that have been "worse" ! ? What I do, is usually type into the "note" with the photo about the flower, as confusion can take place, when I add to the Database. It stated as color ; red. & I'm sitting here thinking that can't be it , as it's more "purple", but was going through the cultivars, to try & get it right. zuzu helped out as she "gets" my way of thinking & I was adding several tree peonies, I'd grown... It's all good now.

Have a look, at 'Shimadaijin' & tell me, if that is more "red" or more "purple" in the color spectrum. At one point, I easily had, over 15 tree peonies.

It's really hard to figure out what you mean here. What was "slised" supposed to mean? You seem to be saying that the database describes Shimadaijin as red instead of purple, but our database says the flower color is purple and the stigmas and sheath are reddish-purple.

I think it was "red' for Rimpoh" & I easily got confused, when doing one, after the other. I think that word ought to have been "stated" & got jumbled up.... My photos were in jpg & may have a number, & a tiny photo, I just set it up, so I can view new photos better now & they int o"photos" & not "uploads" ...But get dyslexia & & have to read some things over again & have to use spell check all the time. & even then, still may have errors. Otherwise, it's just easier if I do try to type any messages, so very slowly. It didn't ever seem to be as d,ifficult, though I took a really hard fall, this past autumn & broke a front tooth
