Early in May I had Monarch caterpillars on my red & gold butterfly weed. Recently I found a new partially unfolded & drying butterfly in my nearby Day Lily bed walking on 'Brocade Gown'. I returned an hour later with my camera to find the butterfly completely unfolded & dried walking on the day lily. I watched for this perfect picture. After 10 minutes it took a successful flight up, up & away. Bon Voyage my Pretty!
