It seemed like overnight but was actually a few days that this young thriving Savoyed cabbage in my garden looked like this. I had to take a picture because it's almost pretty, so lace like. Well next year I'll plant in August/September instead of early Spring which deters the caterpillars some.

It does look kind of awesome.
