A Quick Water Tip

By plantladylin

Keep a few bottles of water in the kitchen freezer and grab a couple on your way out to the garden on a hot summer day. Keep one at hand and place the other in the mailbox for later. It will thaw slowly but stay cool enough for quenching your thirst while working in the heat.

I've eliminated plastic bottles with BPA from my life. BPA free for me. I have discovered I really like the Contigo products with a wide mouth. I can freeze, put ice into, juices and lemon juice, iced tea, and they are reusable and dishwasher safe, and fit in the car caddy thingy.

I keep saying I need to use reusable bottles for refilling with water. My husband does it, using RO water. I admit that I'm lazy and I buy bottled water by the case at Sam's Club. One case goes in the refrigerator in the garage, a few bottles in the freezer, and the other case goes in the pantry until space becomes available in the frig. Smiling

Hubby bought me a case of different sizes of BPA free plastic storage containers and I still haven't put the old ones in the recycle bin. Sad
