I have been told that this plant is mislabeled. First of all, I do not think it's actually variegated. Secondly, I have been advised that A. Telephiastrum are pink when stressed while rufescens are purple. Can anyone confirm or refute this for me? Thanks so much!

If it's not the A. telephiastrum, cultivar 'Variegata' and you can't find the exact cultivar name but you are certain of the species, you could move your photo to Gemsboksuring (Anacampseros telephiastrum)

I don't know a thing about Anacampseros but there are apparently about a hundred species in the genus. Perhaps one of our database administrators @zuzu @Calif_Sue @KentPfeiffer @robertduval14 @Australis can create a general entry for all Anacampseros and if you can't be sure of the exact species of your plant, you could move your photo to that entry.
