This is when I usually try them since they are so sensitive in my gardens. They have a few that I have not tried, cheap if they die I do not feel so bad.

I hope they do not tell me they do not have Heuchera Northern Exposure Black they have told me they have substituted plants on me before. I had a discussion with Terra Nova on FB about their Hercs not good for cold zone. They claim their Northern Exposure is the one for me.

I will, I was happy with the size they sent last year. I have not had any deaths since I started growing them in coir pots and not buying anything Terra Nova. I will see what happens with this order.

I am getting so much growth and longer life with my pot process I even had to break off and start some of the side shoots last yr.

I have strange winter weather, We get rain, hurricane type rain. Within 24 hrs we can go down to 0 - 20 below 0.

Even planting on a once gravel walk the not enough drainage the block of ice they were sitting in was certain death. If that did not kill them we are warming back up and so they are then sitting in ice cold water. The coir is immediate drainage. You know how you cannot keep those hanging basket moist. It turns out they are perfect for the Hercs.

They are not pond plants Rolling on the floor laughing

I might try that here. So much rain here in the winter. Don't have the temperature swings but constant rain or drizzle. We do have dry summers, I wonder if they would die for lack of water. I've started to add a few handfuls of #1 chicken grit in the hole before planting. Might be working, not sure yet.

I was on Facebook Terra Nova and posted how unreliable their /hercs perform they suggested I try their /Northern Exposure that was developed for the northern states. I will see. I avoid most of Terra Nova. I will try one or two every now and then or when they are this cheap. They will never get 18 - 20 out of me again.

I got my order late yesterday. I will get pics today. Not bad for 2 bucks.
