Does anyone have this iris and can you share your thoughts/pics? I placed an order to create a bed of tall bearded iris and then bam! my company re-orged and I don't have a job. So I was going to cancel my ordered but instead am just going to cut it down to a few iris. Splatter Matters at $24 is the most expensive one I ordered. It's just really different from the others I picked out and I'm wondering if it is worth it or if I should cancel it. Thanks.

Wow, $24. for a 10 year old iris? Doesn't that seem high? Have you tried any other vendors? What vendor did you use? I see that C and T Iris patch has it for $8.

$24 seems high to me too.

Sounds like another vendor is trying to cash in on the sad closing of Napa Iris.

I'm such a newbie! I ordered from Schreiner's. Do they tend to be over priced? Where should I buy from? Thanks!

Julie - Are you familiar with TBfinder.com? It is a website that lists tall bearded irises sold in USA and who is selling them.

Julie, Superstition Iris Gardens has it for $7. I just checked their sold out list and it looks like it's still available.

Here's a pic I took in 2018. Hope it helps you make a decision. Smiling

At the top of the iris forum is a "Sticky" listing a lot of iris vendors. You can search each one and check out what they have and compare prices. Superstition irises are very reputable and send large quality rhizomes. Have fun.
