Is this daylily Athlone or Boutonniere? It bloomed in my back yard and I do not recall ever planting it. Happy to see it though. It just bloomed on July 4th in north Atlanta, Georgia. Very hot here ! It has very bold color.

I would lean more toward Boutonniere, but it is hard to judge and name a CV without knowing its origin I.e. place of purchase or Hybridizer. there are some 85,000+ registered daylily's so it is would be almost impossible to identify.

How tall are the scapes and how big are the flowers? This could help narrow it down some.

Thanks for the reply. Appears the scapes are from 22" to 26" in height. The bloom is about 4 to 4.5". Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Thank You!
