That rose just made me think of the prettiest and most delightful
desert! Perhaps the delicate roses they use when finishing
a cake ...

Thanks for sharing your rose with us!

I used to grow long stemmed roses in my rose garden
and had a tall Rebecca water fountain in the rose bed

but the mildew
was too much to handle here in the south...

So that rose garden no longer exist at my home.
I enjoyed the roses for 3 years and took care of them.

so happy you have this gorgeous rose!

Ratcliffnorm - Not many people have this rose. Did you get yours from Palatine?

Sheridragonfly - Thanks for your kind comments! I take pleasure in sharing my roses through my photography.

Lovely rose, beautifully photographed! Looks very similar to a rose I have called Party Time which was a Weeks rose from the mid 1980s (Mine still has its name embossed on the original round metal plant tag from Weeks to confirm its ID).

Hi Deborah - Thanks for your comment. I looked up Party Time on Help Me Find and I can see the similarities. PT had dark pink edging in some photos while Mitsouko edging never gets that dark, always light to medium pink. Someone told me that Mitsouko is 70% genetically the same as the famous Peace rose. Maybe PT has a similar heritage.
