Yikes! I do sympathize with you, I have been under water restrictions before and it's no fun to sit there and watch everyone's garden die. Thumbs down

Some areas around us are under water restrictions too. Crying Holding my breath and praying for rain.

Happiness is 2 in. of rainfall this morning that we were not expecting till this afternoon according to tv meterologist..I heard it first on the bathroom skylight, quickly picked up my bathrobe and ran for the front door to go out to bring my patio cushions end that I left out last night. That was about 5:15 am and the newspaper delivery man was delivering today's issue plus Sunday supplements. He probably wondered what I was doing. Maybe he saw me taking the cushions in and tooted his horn lightly. I'm not sure if they are rain repellant or not but they had been rained on before lightly and we brought them inside and stood on ends and they dried inside in a day..so that's where they are now and tomorrow if the sun is out bright, they will be put back on the furniture to dry in the sun then stored in the garage where we usually store them. I should have listened to my neighbor last night when she offered to help me put them away at 10 pm when the ladies left.

I was so happy to see and hear that rain, I really could have care less if the cushions got wet. We needed it so badly..

Cling, I posted a message/question for you regarding one of the new PowWow Berry Echinaceas I purchased earlier this week and planted. Either on DG or GW. Maybe you didn't get over there to find it. Would like your opinion and solution.

We've had rain in our area for several days, but it always breaks up right before it gets to us. The ground is like a rock. A cracked rock.

Thanks for the tip Jennifer, I just ordered 15 daylilies from Mary's Garden Patch and one more will not hurt, that is a very pretty daylily, glad to hear it is doing well. Green Grin!

Chris, I hope you get some rain soon. Certain times of the year it does that here, breaks up before it gets to us. Grumbling

It's just in the computer, it's a folder with images I have saved. But they are not my pictures, so they only for me to look at. Copyrights, you know? Green Grin!
