Last night a strong storm with high winds hit. I noticed today that my 5' Vanda Orchid has been snapped off. The Orchid has many long roots along the 3' snapped portion. Can I just tie it up to the driftwood display that it has called home for 22+ years?

You can attach it to a new piece. It will quickly establish and be just fine.
Chances are if the base piece has roots and is roughly a foot long, new leads will form along with new roots.

You should clip both of the broken ends even and dust each with cinnamon.

Thanks for putting my mind at ease.
Both of the base pieces are 2' and have many good roots. Crossing Fingers!
