Wondering if any of you have used this supplement?

Perhaps someone else can weigh in on calcium supplements together with their effect on pH, but epsom salts seem to be a widely respected (and inexpensive) source of magnesium that I use.

"There are a host of other elements essential for plant growth and health. These include iron, magnesium, manganese, copper, boron, molybdenum, calcium, and sulfur to mention a few. The element magnesium is central to the chlorophyll molecule in plants, which makes them green and does the work of producing plant sugars from carbon dioxide and water. It is therefore quite necessary and can be fed to plumeria by adding 1 teaspoon of Epsom salt (MgSO4ยท7H2O) per gallon of water at either feeding time or watering time."

It varies a lot by climate and soil. In California the feeding regimen is completely different from Florida.

If you want the easy road: there is a fertilizer formulated especially for plumeria called Excalibur. It is a timed release one, so one feeding is sufficient for the entire growing season. I have seen excellent results since I have been using it (about 5 years now).

I use Excalibur too and have been very pleased with it. I also use it on all my adeniums.

I'm using it on my plumerias and adeniums. It's worth the price since it lasts so long.

Thank You! I'm going to add it to my rotation of Miracle Grow/Fish Emulsion/Super Thrive/Seaweed Extract.
I want my plumerias to enjoy a "varied" diet.

I'm ok with that, but please leave out the Miracle Grow. It is designed for annuals, not to create a healthy tree.

@Dutchlady1 For _years I used Peter's 20-20-20 in my greenhouse... no problems. Only purchased the Miracle Grow 24-8-16 when I ran out & it was a Large container... Once it's gone, I'll go back to 20-20-20... This is the reason I vary the fertilizers now.
