I see so much conflicting info about laurel. I would like something that grows 10-12 upright not short and wide. So is this picture the skip laurel? It looks short and wide.
The comments say that the skip is taller and not as wide.

Get the Skip (Skipensis) Cherry Laurel as it is the cultivar than is upright and to about 8 or 10 feet high by 5 to 6 feet wide. The 'Otto Luyken' is the shorter, rounder form about 5 to 6 feet high and wider. That is my photo and it is still not full-grown.
