Outstanding banner Casey. Reds and crimson shades don't work well for me. You have mastered this beautiful bloom. Thumbs up Nice work!

You've captured a very good angle showing the full color and deep interior of this marvelous bloom. Love it.

Beautiful banner Casey. Love that pop of red color. For some reason, I can't award you acorns above. I'll try later.

And a special thank you to @TBGDN I tip my hat to you. and @Marilyn I tip my hat to you. for the comments, thumbs up and acorns!!

This was a tricky subject to photograph! Reds don't always work for me - both in photographs and the garden. This year I planted peach, coral, chartreuse, dark red-violet and a few other red flowers and it worked. (I'll try and see if I can capture it in a photograph, but they're scattered down the bed so it may be tricky.)

Thank you Fleur for the hibiscus emojis!!! Love it. Lovey dubby

Thank you CDsSister for the laugh! I totally see that now. Hilarious!

re: Reds......difficult for me, too. It may be a the camera, i.e. some do better than
others.

I use a Panasonic FZ150, and I try shooting a little under exposed.

But yours is perfect.
Good job! Thumbs up

Thank you Cal!!

I've heard that before too. I've always been a Nikon girl, worked for a photographer who preferred Cannon. She mentioned there were differences in how the two handle reds. But I'm going to keep working on it! Big Grin
