Last year I had a couple of white ATs that never put on a flower. I did, however, take cuttings from those plants and now it seems this year's plants from those cuttings are "not normal" - their leaves show deformities and somewhat yellowish colorings. Two of six plants did produce a flower at the 1st Y, but four have produced no flower buds (and they are past the 6th Y).
My Pinks and Yellows appear to be somewhat normal.
What might cause these plants to become "baron" - and pass that same trait on to its progeny?
This growing season has been abnormally dry, and I have been watering daily with relatively cold (58-60 deg) well water. Might this cold water be causing "shock" in these plants?
UPDATE: 25 Aug: On about 21 August, after a week of double dose Miracle Gro + Magnesium Sulfate, the "unproductive" ATs started to push flower buds at Ys 5 - 7. Still no flowers at Ys 1 - 4.

Hi Mark,

Brugs are heavy feeders, and they need frequent watering. I use fish and seaweed fertilizer weekly, as well as epsom salt once per month. I also periodically give a feed of 1 tbs black strap molasses mixed in one gallon of water along with 1 tbs of the fish and seaweed fertilizer, as a liquid feed and foliar spray.

You can also use a liquid bloom booster fertilizer.

The first pic is from November 2018, from a plant that was started as a cutting in the spring. This was it's 3rd flush of blooms.

We moved this summer, and 2nd and 3rd pics are from plants that were put in the ground in July, and they have since Y'd and already have buds.

I wish you all the best with your plants, and I hope that you get to see some blooms soon!
