Anyone know of a document, form, program, whatever I should call it...that is a pedigree chart for daylilies where you can just "plop and drop" pictures and add your own names?

I tried doing it in Plant Step but only got this far with it:
Thumb of 2019-08-16/petruske/98db6f
1. Added my seedling to the program
2. Brought it up in the program
3. Went to "hybridize"
4. Went to "Pedigree"
I suppose the parents were already there for me because I previously added them to the "cabinet".
Cannot add a picture of any grandparents. Guessing I would need to add all of them to the "cabinet"; add pictures; and only then...maybe could finish the pedigree chart. Don't know that for sure...just a guess with my fried brain in the wee hours of the morning.

Here is what I did in Excel. But, not knowing too much about creating anything "fancy" in Excel it took me forever to come up with this. Don't know how easy it will be to "plop and drop" with this. 1 a.m and I can't think anymore. Maybe try that tomorrow but just guessing it will be a royal pain because of the goofy way I created it.

Hope I haven't confused everyone too badly. Any suggestions are welcome. I'm taking my fried brain and going to bed now. Crossing Fingers! Hope I don't lay there and think of this pedigree chart.

Just finished adding the grandparents to Plant Step; then added pictures that I captured from garden.org. Quite a time consuming project.

First of all: I hope that is not illegal (using others pictures). I don't plan to "publish" this anywhere. Only for my own use. Although I'm posting the pictures on the chart below that I created in Plant Step. Please let me know your thoughts (do's and don'ts) on this practice.

I doubt it's illegal. You aren't trying to sell the pics, or claim they belong to you.

I love your seedling!
I are sooooo smart!

Daylilies
I put in a private GoogleDoc.
Here is a screenshot of part of my Mauna Loa doc.
I only have text, but you could also paste in photos.

Also, see how Mike Huben displays his plant pedigrees. Here is a link to his 'Porcelain' page (scroll down his page to Porcelain's siblings and ancestors. ).

You can easily link between your own GoogleDocs and create your own Wiki-like notes.

The above looks like the output from a geneaology program. Some will let you enter pictures. The best let you work forwards and backwards.

Lee5b,

I like the last line showing the children. Great idea. I'd like to incorporate that into my chart (if you don't mind my stealing your idea).

Daylilies
Dave,

One evening I was playing around with putting daylilies into a human oriented genealogy program, but since a daylily cultivar can be a Pod parent and can also be a Pollen parent, the database was not very accommodating. Rolling my eyes.

Sue,
