It's one Monarch caterpillar and here's the pic. I turned it around for the banner.

I thought this pic was already in the Butterfly Weed (Asclepias tuberosa 'Gay Butterflies') database, so it took a little time to find it in my photo files. It's in there now, as I just submitted the original pic.

I am glad to see more Monarch caterpillars especially in banners. There has been concern for their habitat in recent years as well as unnecessary use of pesticides. Let's hope for better environmental conditions. Thanks Marilyn for a great banner.
