I agree; it's a beautiful phenomenon depicting a graceful bird in flight. In my eye the left and right falls are the wings; and the bottom fall illustrates the tail feathers.

I only grew it in 2010 and after the end of the season, dug up all my bearded irises and decided to plant other types of plants.
