leaves are always drying and small, it is too hot for them here, even almost in a full shade

Looking at photos online it doesn't look too bad, maybe you need them planted in mass so it looks good, most bulbs look best in mass than singular.
In your weather (and myne) we're lucky to even have it survive and flower.
Maybe it needs to be in a bigger pot so the roots develop better? Also I see that the bulbs are peeking through the soil, I don't have a lot of experience with bulbs but maybe it should be fully underground
