Thread OP
south western Maine
Hey all,

I have an 18 x 38 attached lean to greenhouse with a climate battery system underneath the concrete floor. I have the 10" 1100 cfm fan ready to install but having a problem finding one thermostat that will turn the fan on with a set point of 80 deg to charge the battery and then another set point to turn it on when greenhouse drops to 50 deg to extract the stored energy. Any ideas where I can find such a thermostat or would it be possible to have 2 thermostats connecting to one female plug that then powers the fan? Right now I'm thinking of a timer to turn it on/off at set times regardless of temps though its far from ideal. Ideas or suggestions are welcome.

Thank you

Your idea of two thermostats or one of the dual heat/cool socket thermostats used for home brewers will work. If you wire two plugs to a socket, that will do it, just make sure that hots and neutrals are not shorted together. The plugs and the timer outlets must have three prong or neutral keyed prongs and sockets so you don't inadvertently create a short and pop the breaker. I hope this is clear- if not just holler.

Best Wishes,
Bruce
