No sign of it so far, so likely not in 2020. To confuse things, there is a new Salvia nemerosa 'Amethyst Lips'.

Amethyst Lips (Not the nemerosa type) will surely be in the USA soon, it has had major publicity. Whilst beautiful, it is a bit straggly as compared to Hot and Pink Lips.

Ah thank you both! Robin good to know about the straggly factor. That's something to think about, I usually go for salvias with microphylla in the parentage over salvia Greggii because I like the fullness of microphylla. Once it gets here I'll have to see it in other peoples gardens before I decide on it.
