Giant Swallowtail Butterflies and Your Citrus Trees

It started out as a usual morning as I hand watered the front garden; then I noticed what looked like bird droppings all over one of the lime trees.

I knew the caterpillars ( 2 of them) on my young citrus plant wouldn't harm it. Yet I needed to confirm. They are on the smaller plant and not on the larger one. This happened in the last 7 days, when we were out of station & I had kept all my potted plants in the bath tub, filled a little with water!
