New iris naming app in the Irises forum

Hi all I'm new to all this got given these last year and the new app seed this are the name of them I doubt they are right can anyone help identify them. Justin

I agree that both irises appear to be something else. The first one may be smoke rings, but that is just one possibility. I cannot offer any assistance with the second one.

There is a group on facebook called "Iris ID Oz" that helps people identify their irises. The members of that group have a vast knowledge of irises and I highly recommend them.

I don't know the ID of either of them, but the form of the second suggests a much older Iris (historic).

There's quite a few photos to compare it to here as well: Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Alcazar')

Bear in mind that photographic IDs aren't 100% foolproof and it is recommended that you obtain a piece of the named plant to grow next to your NOID to confirm the ID.
