When I got this I was told it was Flavescens, but it probably isn't, Seems the standards are too white, and not dark enough striations on the hafts. Also this has a darker edge on the falls that Flavescens doesn't seem to have. Any ideas would be appreciated. I really love this old one and wish I could find it's name.
I sent Arlyn a rhizome some years ago, and he confirmed it's not Flavescens, but no ID. It was one of my first historic irises that I got when I just started collecting them.

There were a couple suggestions made....but *something* seems wrong with all of them.I posted some more "dissection "- type pix, and we're still looking.
